We were surprised when we first saw this Short Hills kitchen. A wall had been built by previous owners that essentially cut the kitchen in half. It created a cramped and unappealing space. We had the privilege of working with clients that could see the possibilities. The dividing wall was removed and every effort was made to maximize open space. The result is a stunning new spacious kitchen that is filled with the latest amenities. The clients are thrilled, the family can now gather in a modern, open, lively kitchen.

The two-tone metal range hood features matte gold and stainless steel. The cabinetry hardware thought the kitchen matches these two metals.

The cabinetry throughout is by Tedd Wood, one of our favorite cabinet makers. The style is Shaker with the inset cabinet doors. The wood and finish is quarter-sawn White Oak with a light stain. Although relatively narrow this kitchen feels spacious. The island seats 4 and helps break up the space without blocking views. The cabinet beyond includes a coffee bar and extensive storage.
